Jennifer Aniston has been in a few failed relationships throughout the past couple of years. But even after her divorce from Brad Pitt, the actress never stopped opening herself up to new men.
During her interview with Vogue in 2008, the “Friends” alum talked about her previous relationship with Vince Vaughn and said that he’s her defibrillator. After all, the funnyman was responsible for bringing her back to life.
Aniston also said that she loved her ex-boyfriend deeply, and they seemed perfect for each other while they were together. However, things naturally ran its course, and they decided to end their relationship.
Shortly after, Aniston was linked to a much younger man. After meeting John Mayer at an Oscars party in 2007, the two started dating. Aniston admitted that she didn’t know much about the musician’s music, but she still joined him on his tour in England.
When the tabloids found out about Aniston and Mayer’s relationship, they reportedly went bananas. After all, the singer was previously linked to Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Aniston was also judged for dating someone who was nine years younger than her. But she said that everyone should just mind their own business.
During the same interview, the “Morning Show” star said that she’s not pleased with all of the headlines being written about her in the tabloids. More specifically, Aniston is not pleased with how she was being written as someone who was unlucky in love because of her relationship ending.
“I actually feel I've been unbelievably lucky in love. Just because at this stage my life doesn't have the traditional framework to it—the husband and the two kids and the house in Connecticut—it's mine,” she said.
Aniston also encouraged those who think that she’s a pity party to stop looking at her life and overanalyzing it.
Meanwhile, Aniston is in an even better place at the moment. Almost 15 years after she and Pitt divorced, the former couple has reportedly become good friends.
A source told US Weekly that Aniston and Pitt seem flirtatious at times because they still share a unique connection with each other.
