Jennifer Aniston ‘Won’t Reignite’ Brad Pitt Romance After Justin Theroux Split

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are being linked to each other, but this does not mean the ex-couple have plans to actually get back together.

A source recently told US Weekly that Aniston will never consider reigniting her romance with Pitt especially after she just got divorced from Justin Theroux. However, Pitt will always hold a special place in Aniston’s heart because they were together for a couple of years.

Pitt and Aniston started dating in 1998, and they tied the knot in 2000. Five years later, they announced their divorce. Immediately after his split from Aniston, Pitt started dating Angelina Jolie. The couple was together for over 10 years, but they have also called it quits in 2016.

“Brad is sad to hear about Jen’s divorce. He only wishes the best for her. However, Brad hasn’t reached out to Jen, and has no plans to do so at this point,” the source said.

On Feb. 15, Aniston and Theroux released a joint statement announcing their decision to part ways after only two years of marriage.

“In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship. Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly,” the statement read.

Even before Aniston and Theroux announced their separation, the two have not been spotted together for months. In fact, Theroux did not join Aniston and her friends during her birthday trip. Aniston has also been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles, while Theroux is in New York.

Aniston also attended the 2018 Golden Globes by herself. The last time they were photographed together was during their vacation in Cabo last year.
