Jennifer Garner-Ben Affleck Update: Actress Taking ‘Revenge’ Divorce On Estranged Husband, Report Says

Rumors related to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have rarely ceased following their divorce announcement last June. Now, a new report by Life & Style magazine that claims Garner is divorcing Affleck out of “revenge” has been debunked by Gossip Cop.

In the new issue of Life & Style, as cited by Gossip Cop, the magazine headlined its Garner-Affleck story: “Jen Gets The Ultimate Revenge.” It further reportedly said: “It’s the final straw! After Ben Affleck lets her down again, Jennifer Garner takes steps to wipe him from her life once and for all.”

According to the magazine, on Aug. 13, the former couple’s three children “spent the morning decorating the backyard of the family’s $17.5 million L.A. mansion for dad’s birthday.” The report added that even though Garner and children “went all out,” Affleck “couldn’t make it” because of his work commitments. He reportedly arrived home only next day. Following this, Garner is “getting the ultimate revenge,” the report added.

“She got in touch with her attorneys,” a source told the magazine, adding that Garner “wants Ben out of the house” and has “decided to finally file divorce papers.”

“She’s absolutely done with giving him any more chances. ... She’s getting revenge on Ben by going through with the divorce and moving on with her life,” the insider added.

However, Gossip Cop said that the magazine’s story is bogus and the children did not plan any birthday party for their dad in California.

In fact, Affleck who turned 44 on Aug. 15 celebrated his birthday in Montana with his children and Garner.

“The family spent the week together and enjoyed outdoor activities like hiking, biking and swimming,” a source told People magazine. “Ben is happiest when he’s spending time with his family. It was a great birthday.”

Last June, Garner and Affleck announced their separation, ending 10 years of marriage. Since then, the two have been seen together on several occasions, leading to speculations that they are working to resolve their differences and getting back together. The two were also reported to have held off their divorce as they have not yet filed their divorce papers. However, Garner and Affleck never addressed these rumors.
