Jennifer Garner Dating Arturo Del Puerto Amid Ben Affleck Divorce Is False

Before actress Jennifer Garner and estranged husband Ben Affleck get their divorce finalized, a tabloid claimed the actress had found a “new man” in her life and was romantically involved with Arturo Del Puerto, her costar in upcoming HBO series “Camping.” However, before the rumor could gain any momentum, it was squashed by Gossip Cop.

The latest rumor was started by OK! Magazine, in a piece where the tabloid claimed Garner and Del Puerto seemed to have “struck up a romance” on the sets of their new show and were seen “getting close.”

Next, the tabloid attempted to provide legitimacy to the made-up story by citing a so-called anonymous source, who claimed to have inside scoop on the budding romance.

“They began as friends, but it turned into something more,” the source said. “It was clear to everyone on the set that sparks were there.”

As evidence that there was more than professional friendship between the two actors, the insider stressed on the fact that Garner “can’t stop smiling” when she is shooting on the sets. Additionally, the tipster added the pair were “trying to keep their romance under wraps” as they limited their rendezvous outside of work to just few nights a week.

Nevertheless, the insider said the couple were so into each other that they could not help but send “love notes” to each other throughout the day.

According to the unreliable tabloid, Del Puerto could be the man the “Elektra” actress wanted in her life as he was “funny, talented… has a big heart,” and was “wonderful with kids.”

“It’s great to see her with someone who treat her so well,” the insider said. “This one could go the distance.”

Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s story as “fake news” after talking to members of the production team of “Camping” as well as a close friend of Garner who talked to the gossip-busting site on the condition of anonymity.

In addition to that, it is important to point out the rumor was not reported by any other news outlet or magazine. If there was any truth to the narrative, one or more major entertainment websites would have picked up on it by now.

Garner is currently focused on speeding up the divorce process with Affleck. According to E! News the actress filed a request to have a retired judge appointed as the designated judge in her divorce case, which was granted by a Los Angeles court and was aimed at speeding up the process of finalizing the divorce.
