Jennifer Garner, Daughter Violet Twin In Black Gowns At White House State Dinner

Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet had a twinning moment at an event Thursday night.

The mother and daughter matched in black dresses when they attended the White House state dinner.

In the photos obtained by Page Six, Violet, who celebrated her 17th birthday on the same day, sported a heart-printed Carolina Herrera dress. She paired it with red Stuart Weitzman heels and accessorized her gown with a matching black clutch. The teen styled her hair in a slick bun.

The "13 Going on 30" star opted for a black Ralph Lauren gown with sequins and a pair of Stuart Weitzman platforms. Garner let her hair down in soft waves.

The mother-daughter duo was photographed holding hands and smiling at the star-studded event in Washington, D.C.

Fans raved over the pair on social media, with many saying Violet looked a lot like her mom.

"Spitting image," one commented on a snap of Ben Affleck's ex-wife and their eldest daughter.

"Boy she looks like her mom. Mom in 1996," one second user wrote alongside a throwback photo of the "Yes Day" star.

Another agreed, writing: "Copy-paste daughter. It's actually pretty amazing!"

This wasn't the first time social media users noticed Violet's close resemblance to her mother.

In August, days before her dad married Jennifer Lopez for the second time in his estate in Georgia, a number of fans mistook the teen for the "Alias" star in photos of Affleck, his new wife and Violet's outing.

"I was like, 'Wow, Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck and J.Lo out together,'" one user commented, adding, "That similarity is crazy."

"I keep thinking Jennifer Garner is with them," another said.

"Oh my god, she is Jennifer Garner's mini-me!!!" a third person commented, as another added, "Violet looks so much like her beautiful mom that I thought it was her!"

In addition to Violet, Garner and Affleck also share daughter Seraphina, 13, and son Sam, 10.

Lopez shares 14-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.

Garner and Lopez have reportedly formed a "friendship" while co-parenting.

"Now that Jen and Jen have been co-parenting, they've been getting to know each other better and have formed a very new friendship," an anonymous source told Us Weekly, adding that Garner "can't believe how sweet" Lopez is to her three kids with Affleck.
