  • Jennifer Garner got a tad bit emotional on Instagram
  • The actress is emotional over her daughter, Seraphina, growing up
  • Jennifer Garner doesn't post photos of her children on Instagram

Jennifer Garner just shared how emotional she has become at the thought of her second daughter, Seraphina, growing up.

On her Instagram account, the “13 Going On 30” actress uploaded a video of two otters hugging each other. The video is accompanied by Taylor Swift’s hit song, “Never Grow Up.”

“I’m crushed by sentimentality today – a new year, a birthday for my middle daughter. And now these otters?! Not to mention @taylorswift? I’m just going to go back to bed, it’s too much for this old mama,” she captioned the adorable clip.

Garner is known for sharing stories about her three children on Instagram. However, the actress has not posted their photos on social media. While speaking with InStyle, the actress said that she wants to guard her kids’ privacy. And in the past, she didn’t even want to mention their names during her interviews.

While speaking with Katie Couric on the “Next Question With Katie Couric,” the “13 Going On 30” star explained why she thinks even her eldest daughter, Violet, is still too young for Instagram.

“Without even having parents who are well-known, I worry about all kids having to deal with this new pressure, My daughter's at an all-girl school, and it's such a huge problem, and she'll occasionally talk to me about getting Instagram, and I can see why, because I'm on there,” she said.

Garner also said that Violet knows Instagram is something to do, and she is especially interested in creating her own account since she sees that her mom has one. But whenever her teenager would ask permission to create her own account, Garner would ask Violet to show her studies that prove she needs one.

At the end of the day, Garner said that she doesn’t see anything positive with the use of social media that’s why she’s discouraging her daughter from using it.
