Jennifer Garner does not see herself walking the aisle anytime soon after her divorce from ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The “13 Going On 30” actress recently opened up about her personal life and the possibility of being married again since her split from the “Batman v Superman” actor. In an interview with People, Garner made it clear that she’s very unlikely to tie the knot again in the immediate future.
“This is not the time. I don’t need to complicate it; I’m good,” she said in the interview. “I’m so far from [getting married again].”
The 48-year-old actress, who has been married twice, admitted that she’s not closing her doors because she believes she could find another serious romance in the future.
“And I don’t know that marriage would need to be a part … I mean I definitely don’t think that I’ll be single forever,” she said.
Garner was married to Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004. She then tied the knot with Affleck in 2005, but they eventually broke up 10 years later and had their divorce finalized in 2018. Garner and Affleck share three kids — Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, according to Page Six.
After her split from Affleck, Garner moved on by dating Cali Group chairman John Miller. Sources said at the time Miller was serious and that he wanted to marry the actress.
Miller, who just had a divorce with ex-wife Caroline Campbell in November 2018, was reportedly so happy with Garner because she brought out the best in him and they could relate on so many things such as raising children after a divorce. He and Campbell share two kids.
Unfortunately, their relationship did not work out. Us Weekly confirmed that they amicably broke up 7 months into their romance and just before the COVID-19 lockdown started in March 2020.
In the same interview with People, Garner shared that she enjoyed spending her quarantine time with her kids only and that she learned that she’s actually fine with being single since she has them to keep her company.
“I’ve learned that I'm pretty sturdy. I'm okay when I'm in the house by myself. I'm okay when it's just the kids and me. I'm okay when they fall apart. I mean I have my moments, but pretty much, I'm really okay,” she said.
