Jennifer Garner Photographed Crying, Hugging Friend Amid John Miller Engagement Rumors
Jennifer Garner recently cried tears of joy when she met up with an old friend.
On Tuesday, Garner, 46, reunited with former "Alias" co-star Carl Lumbly in Brentwood, Los Angeles. In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Garner had tears welling in her eyes as she ran up to her friend and embraced Lumbly in the street.
For her outing that day, Garner looked gorgeous in a white sweater, black pinstriped pants and black leather shoes. She wore her wave brunette locks loose around her shoulders. The actress had been wearing tortoiseshell sunglasses, but she whipped them off her face when she hugged her former colleague.
Garner and Lumbly played lead characters Sydney Bristow and Marcus Dixon, in JJ Abrams' spy series "Alias," which aired from 2001 until 2006 on ABC.
But Lumbly wasn't the only "Alias" alum Garner reunited with recently. Ben Affleck's ex-wife also met up with former co-star Bradley Cooper and his girlfriend, Irina Shayk, for dinner over the weekend, People reported. Cooper played the role of Will Tippin, a journalist and friend of Garner's character, in the first two seasons of Alias and recurred as a special guest during seasons three and five.
Cooper and Shayk took along their daughter Lea De Seine, 1, to the dinner which was held at Garner's home. They were also joined by Cooper's mother, Gloria Campano.
It seems Garner and Cooper have remained pals after working together on "Alias." Earlier this year, Garner gave Cooper well-wishes via Instagram on his birthday, which was also the day before the Golden Globes, in which the actor-director had been up for several awards for "A Star Is Born."
“I taught him everything he knows,” Garner wrote with a laughing emoji. “Happy Birthday, Bradley. Go get em tomorrow. We are all so proud of you.”
Prior to their dinner, Cooper brought along Shayk and his mother Gloria as his dates to the Academy Awards where they stole the show at the red carpet. The three walked the red carpet together and sat in the front row, next to Cooper's "A Star Is Born" co-star, Lady Gaga.
