Jennifer Garner Shares Hilarious Note From 5-Year-Old Son Samuel
Jennifer Garner recently shared a hilarious note from her 5-year-old son, Samuel, on Instagram.
In the post, Samuel wrote “I love you” to his mom and then filled the entire piece of paper with the word “fart.” The “13 Going On 30” actress couldn’t help but laugh at her son. In her caption, she encouraged her 612,000 followers on social media to just “read between the farts.”
Last month, the single mom of three talked about parenting her kids. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “Anytime that you’re playing someone who is going through something, you have to just figure it out, and you actually – believe it or not – don’t use your own life as much as you think… You just get into that place. That’s your job, and then you shake it off because you have to go home and raise your kids,” she said.
Garner has been prioritizing her children since they were born and most especially when she and Ben Affleck decided to go their separate ways. After announcing their decision to split, Garner and Affleck still stayed close to each other for the sake of Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel.
Following their separation, Garner and Affleck planned a family trip to the Bahamas to veer away from the media’s watchful eye. “They got the kids out of L.A. as soon as school was out. The Bahamas is a place they’ve been going to for years that’s very private and special for the kids,” a source told US Weekly.
In April, Garner officially filed for divorce from the “Batman” actor. But before doing so, Garner commented on rumors that their split was due to Affleck’s infidelity. The actor was linked to their children’s nanny. While speaking with Vanity Fair, Garner said that they have been separated for months before she knew about Affleck’s fling.
“She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not part of the equation,” she said.
At present, Garner is still single, but Affleck has already moved on with “Saturday Night Live” producer, Lindsay Shookus.
