Jennifer Garner Shockingly ‘Refused’ John Miller’s Attempts To Propose; Ben Affleck Not At Fault

Jennifer Garner and John Miller have been together for over a year, but they still haven’t gotten engaged. The reason behind this may have just been revealed.

A source told Us Weekly that Miller wants his relationship with Garner to end up in the altar. However, he also knows that he can’t rush the “13 Going On 30” star.

The couple is also reportedly extremely content and blissfully happy in their relationship. And Garner’s kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, have also met their mom’s boyfriend.

Contrary to rumors, Garner’s decision to not rush into a marriage with Miller has nothing to do with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. The co-parents announced their divorce in 2015, but it was only in 2017 that it was finalized.

A source told the publication that Affleck’s struggles with sobriety do not also impact their relationship because Garner no longer feels responsible for him.

Three years ago, Affleck penned a candid Facebook post about receiving treatment for his alcohol addiction. In his lengthy post, Affleck thanked Garner for supporting him during such a difficult time.

“I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery,” he wrote.

Shortly after, a source said that Affleck is ready to move out of Garner’s Brentwood property but the couple will continue to co-parent their three children. Until today, this is something that the former couple has been successfully doing.

Earlier this month, Affleck and Garner reunited with each other to watch their daughter Seraphina’s soccer game. During their outing, Affleck and Garner were photographed chatting and laughing while sitting on the grass and hugging their kids.

Affleck and Garner also reunite every time there is an important occasion in their family.
