Jennifer Garner Skips Ben Affleck’s Birthday Celebration With Kids After Weekend Reunion

Jennifer Garner skipped Ben Affleck’s birthday celebration with their kids.

Over the weekend, the “Batman v Superman” actor celebrated his birthday with his three children with Garner: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. The family had a late celebration and dined out where they enjoyed filet mignon, salmon and surf and turf at a restaurant in Los Angeles.

Eyewitnesses told Entertainment Tonight that the restaurant was known for its eccentric serving style like presenting lobster Pop-Tarts in a toaster and popcorn chicken in a life-sized popcorn machine. For dessert, they enjoyed a dish called Dolla Dolla Bills Y’all, a rich chocolate ganache anddulce de leche tart under a gold brick shell served with vanilla bean ice cream and golden caramel corn.

It’s tradition for Affleck and his kids to celebrate his birthday at the same restaurant. They have been doing it for the last three years. However, his ex-wife was noticeably missing in the celebration despite their harmonious relationship.

Affleck and Garner remain amicable following their split. They continue to co-parent their three kids and according to an insider, the “Peppermint” actress is still very supportive of her ex-husband.

“Ben’s relationship with Jen is doing amazingly well despite everything that’s happened,” a source said.

“She’s really supportive of Ben, and when they parent the kids separately, they both share their stories of sweet moments they had with the kids that day. Their friends are always saying what a perfect example they are of dedicated parents who look past their own issues.”

Even if Garner wasn’t present at Affleck’s late birthday celebration, she was spotted visiting him at home on the same day. The “Miracles from Heaven” star looked sporty in her gray shirt, jogging pants and trainers. She also made a statement during her visit because her shirt was printed with the words “Better Together.”

Garner has been dating her boyfriend John Miller for over a year already. On the other hand, Affleck remains single after his split from “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus.
