Jennifer Garner continues to support her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, as he focuses on his sobriety.

The couple, who announced their separation in 2015, is still finalizing their divorce. But a source told People that even though Garner and Affleck are no longer together, the “Alias” star still has Affleck’s back because she wants him to be healthy for their three kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.

Garner and Affleck’s brother, Casey Affleck, were the two people who convinced the “Justice League” star to go back to inpatient treatment for a few days in Los Angeles. After his short stint in rehab, Affleck has been on an outpatient treatment for his alcohol addiction.

At the moment, Affleck is traveling in and around the country to promote his latest film, and his sober coach has been spending time with him as well. “This is a lifelong battle, not one that he takes lightly. His focus is on his family and getting better so that he can continue with what he loves,” a source said.

Meanwhile, even though Garner and Affleck are no longer together, the couple will still reunite for Thanksgiving for the sake of their three kids. Affleck is currently dating “Saturday Night Live” producer, Lindsay Shookus, and it seems she doesn’t have any problems with the set up.

Garner, on the other hand, recently said that she has no interest in dating anyone after her divorce from Affleck. While speaking with News.co.au, the “13 Going On 30” actress said that a lot of her friends want to set her up for dates. However, she always refused their offer.

“I would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids. I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It’s something that we are working through,” she said.

In May, there were rumors that Garner has gone back to the dating scene. But the actress recently confirmed that she hasn’t hung out with anyone since her and Affleck’s divorce. “I haven’t been on a date, and I’m not interested in dating,” she said.
