Jennifer Garner Will ‘Never Forget’ Ben Affleck-Nanny Scandal, Christine Ouzounian ‘Not In Contact’ With Affleck: Report

Jennifer Garner has not forgotten about Ben Affleck’s rumored affair with their children’s nanny Christine Ouzounian despite him denying the allegations, according to a report Monday. However, Garner is “pleased” that the scandal had cooled down, one of the sources told E! News.

"There was a lot of tension between them for a while, but it wasn't all about the nanny ,” a source close to the couple told the entertainment website. “It's never easy for a couple going through a split.”

However, 43-year-old Garner is not complaining about the alleged affair every day, another insider reportedly said. "It's not as fresh in her mind and some of the shock has worn off," the insider said. "She will never forget about it, but she's also not harping on it every day."

E! News reported, quoting another source, that Garner wanted the news of the scandal to fade away quickly. “Behind closed doors she is dealing with her own personal feelings and how to process what happened," the source said.

The former couple has been spending time together and the two have also been spotted on a dinner outing at Nobu in Malibu. Garner and Affleck also started to go to church post-split, which was Garner’s idea, the website reported.

A friend close to the former couple said that Garner “really loves” Affleck and wanted to be able to forgive him. "She isn't going to ever stop loving him. He's the father of her kids and she wants him in their lives,” the friend reportedly added. "They've had to come together to make decisions regarding their kids. Jennifer wants to share it with Ben. That's brought them together," the friend said, according to E! News.

After the scandal, it was recently reported that 28-year-old Ouzounian was planning to reveal the secrets of her alleged relationship with Affleck in a reality television show. However, after this, Ouzounian has not been in the news. A source told E! News that she was living at her parents’ house in Santa Monica, California, and is not in “contact with Ben.”

In September, Affleck apologized to Garner for the way his alleged affair with Ouzounian unfolded. “Ben took responsibility for his relationship with their former nanny, Christine Ouzounian,” an insider reportedly said at the time. “The relationship had started after the couple had already split up, but Jen was humiliated when the relationship went public.”
