Jennifer Garner's Rumored Boyfriend Josh Duhamel Not Playing Stepdad To Her Kids

Josh Duhamel is not playing stepdad to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's children.

The Australian edition of Woman's Day released a report claiming that the "Safe Haven" actor is "practically living" with Garner and her three children: Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 5. The article also claimed that Duhamel also brings along his 4-year-old son, Axl, with ex Fergie for playdates. The so-called insider alleged that Garner and Duhamel are becoming a "modern family."

"Friends say they're fast becoming a real modern family. Jen and Josh love to cook at home and cuddle up to watch movies with the kids," the insider claimed.

Gossip Cop, however, has debunked the reports. According to the publication, Garner and Duhamel, who both star in the upcoming film "Love, Simon," are not dating and that their relationship "remains completely professional."

Earlier this month, reports also claimed that Duhamel had already met Garner's kids and that he spent most of his time at the actress' Pacific Palisades mansion. OK! magazine even published a magazine with Duhamel, Garner and her kids on the cover, but the photo the tabloid used was later determined to have been digitally altered. It was originally a paparazzi shot of Garner and her kids, and Duhamel was just added to the frame as if they were together. The "When in Rome" star has not met Garner and Affleck's children and he has no reason to do so.

Garner and Duhamel's romance rumors began making rounds earlier this year. An insider claimed that the "Peppermint" actress and the "Transformers" star shared intimate lunches and dinners together. "Finding each other at that particular moment turned out to be a blessing," the so-called insider said.

But the report was also later debunked by Gossip Cop, which confirmed that Affleck and Fergie's exes are not dating.

Garner also announced in November that she is not seeing someone. In fact, she has no plans to start dating again anytime soon. Thus, it is unlikely that the "Miracles from Heaven" star is seeing Duhamel.

"I haven't been on a date and I am not interested in dating," Garner told Entertainment Tonight in November. "People want to set me up and I am just like, 'No thank you!' I would not have chosen this life for myself or for my kids. I would not choose to be single or be in this position. It's something that we are working through."​
