Jennifer Hudson is Getting Married, Has Dating Advice (PHOTOS)

Slimmed-down songbird and actress Jennifer Hudson clarified that is she getting married to fiancé David Otunga and even gave dating advice to women who are looking for love in Los Angeles.

Her advice to these women: DON'T date a man from L.A.

I hear that L.A. men are weird or something but I've never dated anyone out of L.A., she told Access Hollywood at the American Music Awards. Date in your hometown cause David and I are from Chicago. That's our trick.

But what if you are from L.A.?

So if you live in L.A. you have to date somebody from L.A., huh? That's a tough one. I don't know what to tell you there.

She said she and Otunga were baffled when they heard the breakup rumor. True, they are very busy, but they always manage to connect in Chicago.

That's our meeting place, she told Access Hollywood. And that's where our wedding will be. At home in Chicago.

So what else should a couple have in common?

Common interests, similar backgrounds, a familiarness, she said. So I guess that's what I would have to say.
