Days after breakup rumors swirled about Jennifer Lawrence and boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, it looks like they may actually be engaged, as the “Hunger Games” actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring.

The New York Daily News reported Thursday that 23-year-old JLaw was seen wearing a ring on “that all-important finger” during a photo shoot for Vanity Fair in Los Angeles on an unspecified date.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail posted photos of the Oscar-winning actress during a shoot in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The site did not specify what publication the photo shoot was for, but a diamond ring is clearly visible on her left ring finger.

However, this isn't the first time Lawrence has worn a ring on “that” finger in public and sparked rumors that she is engaged.

She first wore a ring on her left hand in November at a press event for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” Then, during several appearances in April, Lawrence wore a turquoise ring on her engagement finger while hanging out with 24-year-old Hoult. The actress flipped off paparazzi while in London, still wearing the turquoise jewelry, and later denied being engaged.

Most recently, rumors circulated that Lawrence and her boyfriend of over a year were calling it quits. The British actor reportedly dumped JLaw because of her “exploded ego” and “obsession” with Hollywood.

“He hates how in love with fame Jen is and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress,” a source told gossip site TheFIX. “They are still talking, but Nicholas is moving on.”

However, the blog said Lawrence is “desperately” trying to win back the British actor, whom she began dating in 2011 after meeting him on the set of “X-Men: First Class.” The pair split in February 2012 but got back together six months later while working on “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Hoult was recently seen flirting with actress Riley Keough, looking “cozy” while “sitting arm-in-arm” at a party on July 23. Sources said he prefers the 25-year-old granddaughter of Elvis Presley because she is British like him and “more low-key.”

“[Jennifer Lawrence has] worked so hard for her achievements and she’s so proud of her career. But Nic wants a more low-key girlfriend,” the source said. “Riley is into acting in indies and not playing the fame game. She also spends a huge amount of time in the U.K. because her mom, Lisa Marie Presley, lives there.”

The source said Hoult and Keough dated after he and Lawrence broke up the first time and “he is ready to give their relationship a shot.”
