Jennifer Lawrence Explains Why Returning To Red Carpet Was An 'Out Of Body' Experience

Jennifer Lawrence, who returned to the spotlight after stepping away for some time due to her pregnancy, has revealed that the "Don't Look Up" premiere was an "out of body" experience for her.

"I'm, like, not here — if that makes sense. I'm not processing [it]," Lawrence, who is expecting her first baby with husband Cooke Maroney, said in an interview with E! News.

In the short clip posted on Twitter on Monday, the actress could be seen wearing a golden gown at the event.

The reporter asked the actress if she had her favorite food before coming to the event, to which Lawrence laughingly responded replied, "No!"

During the interview, the 31-year-old actress praised her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and said, "He's the best. He's the greatest."

"He's such an amazing actor and such a professional, which I could learn a lot from," she added.

Lawrence also referred to "The Wolf of Wall Street" star as the "sweetest guy in the universe."

"Don't Look Up" was shot amid the COVID-19 pandemic due to which the cast members — including Lawrence, DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet, Tyler Perry, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill and Ariana Grande — got close to each other.

"We had no choice," the actress explained. "We were the only people we could see for months."

Lawrence also talked about working with Hill on a particular scene, noting that there was an entire day devoted to the actor "insulting" her and the line was "different every single time."

The actress explained how difficult it was for her to keep a straight face while filming that scene and that she felt "terrible" over the takes they had because they always ended up laughing.

"Don't Look Up" is a dark comedy that follows two low-level astronomers who find out that a comet is approaching the Earth. They try to warn people about it, but unfortunately, no one believes them.

Netflix dropped the trailer of the movie in September.

The film will hit U.S. theaters this Friday. It will drop on Netflix on Dec. 24.
