Jennifer Lawrence Talks ‘Bizarre’ Sex Scene With Chris Pratt, Admits She Got Drunk To Get Ready For The Scene

Jennifer Lawrence’s acting skills may have landed her an Oscar award, however, the actress recently revealed that she felt nervous during her first sex scene.

The “X-Men” actress was very candid during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (THR) where she, along with other A-list actresses such as Cate Blanchett, Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet, Charlotte Rampling, Carey Mulligan and Brie Larson, sat down to discuss various Hollywood issues and acting topics such as pay gap and many more. One of the interesting topics they touched on was filming sex scenes.

Lawrence told THR that she recently had her first sex scene with Chris Pratt for the upcoming movie “The Passengers”. The “Hunger Games” actress described the experience as “bizarre” and “weird.” Lawrence also mentioned that she got “really, really drunk” in order to prepare for the scene. However, it didn’t help to calm her nerves, Lawrence said, but only “led to more anxiety.” The reason behind it was because her co-star Pratt was a married man.

“He was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach,” she explained to THR. “And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that… It was just very vulnerable. And you don't know what's too much... That was the most vulnerable I've ever been.”

Meanwhile, apart from filming “The Passengers,” Lawrence has been busy promoting her latest film “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.” The actress, alongside other “Hunger Games” cast members, has been gracing red carpet events one after another. However, there were a few instances where she tripped on the red carpet.

The star told Entertainment Tonight (ET) during the movie’s New York premiere Wednesday that she has been very clumsy lately. Lawrence shared, "I fell in every city on this press tour!" The actress also confessed to ET that she “dropped yogurt on the plane” and even “slipped on Conan.”

"Now when I trip it's not even cute and charming,” she added. “I'm like, 'UGHHH!'"
