Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez Donate $50K To Red Cross Following Hurricane Harvey

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez recently donated $50,000 to Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey aid.

On her Instagram account, Lopez pledged that she and boyfriend will be giving the organization $25,000 each to help the victims of the recent catastrophe. The “Shades of Blue” actress also encouraged her millions of fans on social media to do their part in helping those who were affected by the hurricane. Lopez shared a link to Red Cross’ site so that fans can directly donate to the cause.

Lopez and Rodriguez aren’t the only celebrities who have urged their fans to support various organizations in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco asked her followers to help save the dogs, cats and horses that were stranded and left behind by their owners following the tragic incident.

“Modern Family” star Ariel Winter also encouraged her supporters to donate to Save the Children so that the kids who lost their homes or have not found their foster parents may have means to survive. The “Ellen Show” host Ellen DeGeneres also posted a link to Red Cross via her Twitter account on Monday.

Meanwhile, Lopez and Rodriguez recently returned to New York after Sunday night’s boxing match in Las Vegas. The couple shared photos of themselves at the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight.

On Tuesday, they were spotted walking along the streets of the Big Apple. According to the Daily Mail, the couple worked out together before Lopez returned to the set of “Shades of Blue” Season 3.

Photos of Lopez as Harlee Santos were also released on the same site. In one of the photos, the actress is being escorted by one of the production staff. A video of Harlee talking to Wozniak (Ray Liotta) outside an apartment door was also uploaded online.

In the hit NBC series, Harlee and Wozniak work closely together. The two have supported each other not only at work, but also with their personal lives. Harlee and Wozniak have also kept each other’s secrets, but the two will face more problems in the upcoming episodes.

“Shades of Blue” Season 3 will premiere on NBC next year.
