Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Spending Time Together After Alex Rodriguez Split: Report

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been hanging out after their splits from their respective exes, Alex Rodriguez and Ana de Armas, a report says.

Lopez and Affleck have been spending time together in Los Angeles, PageSix reported, citing unnamed sources. The Oscar winner has reportedly been spotted multiple times going to Lopez's home during the day. He was picked up in a white Escalade SUV allegedly owned by Lopez and then taken to her nearby mansion, an insider said.

The two have not been spotted together publicly yet, but "security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house," the source told the outlet.

The "Gone Girl" star has visited Lopez three times since she returned to Los Angeles after filming her romantic-comedy film "Shotgun Wedding" in the Dominican Republic, the report said. However, sources close to Affleck and Lopez told the outlet they are just friends.

"They are friends … they’ve never not been," the insider added.

Affleck and Lopez met in 2002 while filming "Gigli." The pair, famously called "Bennifer," got engaged in November of that year. However, they postponed their 2003 wedding just days before they were set to tie the knot and officially parted ways in January 2004.

"I was eviscerated. I lost my sense of self, questioned if I belonged in this business, thought maybe I did suck at everything. My relationship [with Affleck] self-destructed in front of the entire world," Lopez told Vanity Fair in 2017. "It was a two-year thing for me until I picked myself up again."

Affleck later met and married Jennifer Garner. The pair also split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 2018. Affleck and Garner remain amicable as they co-parent their three children — Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9.

As for their latest romances, Lopez and Rodriguez announced their split earlier this month, ending their two-year engagement and four-year relationship. Meanwhile, Affleck split from de Armas in January after almost a year of dating.

Rodriguez and Lopez have also remained friendly after announcing their breakup. In fact, earlier this week, they enjoyed dinner together in L.A.

The exes met up at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, where A-Rod and Lopez had their first date in 2017, eyewitnesses told Page Six. Lopez owns a $28 million mansion in the neighborhood, according to Los Angeles Times.
