Jennifer Lopez: Gunshots Near 'Live It Up' Music Video Set Can't Keep Her From Met Gala Red Carpet [PHOTO]
Jennifer Lopez had to be escorted from her own video set over the weekend in Florida, after gun shots rang out nearby.
Lopez was shooting a music video for her single with Pitbull “Live it Up,” when the shooting occurred, TMZ reports. Lopez was escorted to a trailer by boyfriend Casper Smart and security.
"BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away," Entertainment Tonight's" Rob Marciano, tweeted. He was on the set interviewing the 43-year-old at the time of the incident.
"Can hear & see ambulances converging 400 yards down the street. … Police confirming: 'shots fired. no one hit.' Whew,” he continued later.
Though the people involved in the shooting were not found, several others were detained at the scene.
Neither Lopez nor Pitbull commented on the shooting.
Lopez did not seem too bothered by the incident, however, as she rocked the Met Gala red carpet Monday night. She took heed to the punk theme, wearing an animal print Michael Kors gown and a fauxhawk updo.
Meanwhile, “Live it Up” looks like it will be yet another steamy video from the beautiful singer. She was on set wearing a flesh-toned swimsuit and also showed off her toned legs in a black bikini which she covered with a colorful sheer dress.
"America’s Next Top Model" winner Eva Marcille was also on the set, showing off her bikini body in a black two-piece.
It is unknown when the video will be released, but the single is expected to be released Wednesday.
