Jennifer Lopez Is The Real Boss; Alex Rodriguez Revealed This Made The Songstress Cry
Jennifer Lopez, 50, and Alex Rodriguez, 44, announced their engagement during their beach vacation in the Bahamas in March. The former professional baseball player popped the question after two years of being in a relationship with the "Papi" songstress. While avid followers of the couple are waiting for the details of their upcoming wedding, the pair, previously, shared that they have not finalized anything yet because of their busy schedules.
Despite this, Jennifer and Alex continue to flaunt their romance both online and offline. Recently, the former Yankees player talked about his blended family with the “Let’s Get Loud” singer. Alex told Andy Cohen on “Today with Hoda & Jenna” that he wears the pants in their relationship when his girlfriend is not at home.
“Before she gets home, I’m the boss. Andy, when I get home, I’m like, ‘I’m security, I’m Uber, I’m the teacher,” Alex Rodriguez revealed to the co-host on Wednesday. “We have four kids and no one listens to Dad,” Jennifer Lopez’s lover went on.
For starters, Jennifer shares two kids with former partner Marc Anthony -- Maximilian and Emme, 11. Alex, for his part, also shares two daughters with his former ladylove, Cynthia Scurtis, namely, Ella, 11, and Natasha, 14.
In the same interview, Alex Rodriguez revealed that Jennifer Lopez has been preparing for six weeks for her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. He revealed that the “On The Floor” hitmaker has been rehearsing with Shakira since February. The former athlete even said that his girlfriend was brought to tears after the league, JAY-Z and Roger Goodell told Jennifer about the gig at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Feb. 2, 2020.
“I have been doing a lot of meetings about the Super Bowl, been prepping and hiring the people and putting concepts and ideas for the show together,” Jennifer divulged to Extra when asked to give some details about her preparations for the Super Bowl performance. “Shakira and I have spoken a few times already. She’s putting her thing together, [I’m] putting my thing together, thinking about who we want to join us on stage if we want that,” Alex’s girlfriend added.
Jennifer Lopez, also, assured to give everyone an enjoyable show, before adding that she and Shakira will, surely, bring everybody together. Meanwhile, the forthcoming Super Bowl performance of Alex Rodriguez’s girlfriend and the “Waka Waka” hitmaker will be aired on live on Fox.
