Jennifer Lopez Using Dance To Bring A Divided World Together
Jennifer Lopez is the executive producer of the reality TV series “World of Dance.” The singer recently shared a video of her meeting the participants of the show online and said that she wants to use the art form to bring together a divided world.
“World of Dance” is currently airing its third season. Lopez shared a video of her meeting the contestants on Instagram. The behind-the-scenes video showed just how excited some of the participants were while meeting the celebrity actress and singer.
Lopez feels that dancers are a special group of people who are very supportive of each other. The contestants on her show, for example, come from different countries but they support and love each other.
Talking about the significance of dance, Lopez pointed out that the world at the moment feels very divided. The singer feels that the world needs this art form in order overcome the divide and come together.
“What the world needs now…” Lopez captioned her post.
Lopez is busy with her reality TV series at the moment, but she may soon embark on a new project. The singer has a beachfront mansion in Malibu that needs to be renovated, and she was recently spotted looking at the property with designer Joanna Gaines, EOnline reported.
In a previous interview with “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Lopez revealed how she wanted Gaines to work on her house, but there were challenges to make the designer take up a project outside of Texas. However, Lopez’s boyfriend Alex Rodriguez managed to convince the designer to come on board and work on their new house.
Rodriguez gave Lopez the surprise on their second anniversary. He called her for a FaceTime meeting with the architect, and the singer was shocked to find out that it was in fact Gaines.
The designer may take some time to get the vision for the house just right for the couple. Lopez pointed out that her boyfriend likes modern things like stones, woods and marbles, but she prefers something cozy like “a pillow and blankie.”
