Jennifer Love Hewitt Engaged And Pregnant With 'The Client List' Co-Star Brian Hallisay's Baby

Just one day after announcing her pregnancy, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Brian Hallisay confirmed news that they are engaged to be married.

Hallisay proposed to his 'The Client List' co-star in May while vacationing in Europe, Us Weekly reported.

Jennifer and Brian first met on the sets of 'Love Bites,' but are said to have started dating 15 months ago after reconnecting during the shoot of 'The Client List.' Brian plays Jennifer’s on-screen husband in the series.

News of the engagement follows Jennifer’s announcement of her pregnancy on Tuesday. The 34-year-old confirmed to Us Weekly that she is three months along in her pregnancy and that they were “so thrilled and happy to start a family.”

Jennifer has for long been vocal about her desire to start a family once she meets her perfect match. “I would love to have babies...one day. I'm obsessed with babies!” she told Us Weekly in 2010, adding that she is a believer in fairy-tale romances.

"I think that I could be a really good wife. I know that I love being able to give my love out to someone. I know there is somebody great out there for me."

But she was initially unsure if her relationship with Brian would work out, for, in March, a source close to the actress told Us Weekly that she was considering freezing her eggs. "She has been asking a few women she knows about freezing her eggs," the source revealed. She "feels worried that she will end up single, since none of her relationships have been successful"

"If it doesn't work out with Brian, she can still be a mom one day."

The actress was earlier engaged to Ross McCall in 2007 but called it quits after just one year. She has also been linked to Patrick Wilson, John Mayer, Jamie Kennedy and Alex Beh in the past.
