In his post, Pauly D can be seen in a car with both Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.
Snokki and The Situation also confirmed the reunion in their own posts on social media. Snooki shared a video with fans featuring Mike, Paul, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Jenni "JWoww" Farley, while Mike shared two photos of the small group posing together.
Missing from the announcements were co-stars Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.
Deena and Vinny were both previously expected to be a part of the reunion, with Deena even giving an interview where she alleged that everyone would be back this time, expect for Ronnie, who had fallen out of touch with most of the cast.

"I honestly don't know if anyone has spoken to him about it," she told Us Weekly at the time. "Right now we're in a group chat with me [and everyone else]. Ronnie's actually not in it right now, in the group chat, but we're all talking about it and we're all trying to figure out ways to make it happen."
However, she also did say that if he wanted to be a part of the reunion, no one would object to his signing on, including his ex, Sammi.
"I'm sure he'd be willing to sign on. We just all haven't spoken to him. I think Vinny's the only one that really talks to him," she said. "Sam is the happiest I've ever seen her, so I think she would be just fine if Ronnie is there. She's doing great. I don't think his presence would bother her at all."
Deena's comments came shortly after she and the rest of the cast, sans Ronnie, all reunited initially to film a commercial for Burger King's Chicken parmigiana sandwich.
Shortly after, Ronnie took to his Instagram account to indicate he would be a part of the reunion after all, captioning a post "When people saying your not going to be a part of the #JSReunion," and using the hashtags "WhenTheMediaMakesUpTheirOwnStories" and "ButforgettheFAKEstories."
Ronnie, Deena and Vinny have all not commented yet on the reunion premiere date news on social media.
Whether or not the entire cast is involved in the show, it is set to allegedly serve as a pilot for a new series, which could potentially also reunite other reality show casts and take them on a similar journey as the "Jersey Shore" group, who will be taking a trip down memory lane for their special, sharing stories, revisiting some of their favorite places from the original series, and catching up on one another's lives since the original show went off the air.
Though the gang from "Jersey Shore" has changed a bit in the years since the show went off the air—Snooki, J Woww and Pauly D are now all parents—the cast still wants to assure fans that they're going to be as fun as ever, with Snooki sharing a second Instagram post about the reunion where she promised they were still cool people.
