Jessa Duggar, Husband Ben Seewald Welcome Fourth Baby A Year After Pregnancy Loss

Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald are now officially parents of four.

The former "Counting On" stars made the announcement that they welcomed their fourth child via Duggar's Instagram Monday. She shared a snap of herself crying as she held her newborn in her arms in a hospital bed. Duggar has not yet revealed the sex or any further details about the latest addition to their family.

"Baby Seewald #4 has arrived!" she wrote in the caption.

Duggar also shared a link to a video on their YouTube channel where they documented the days leading up to their arrival at the hospital Sunday.

In the video, it revealed that she started having contractions on July 13. "My due date is three days away," she said in the clip. "So, it's a little bit early. But...I was five days late with my first two pregnancies. We were half early last time. So, we just never know."

Duggar had an appointment with the doctor on July 14, and they were told that everything looked good. "We're just chillin," she continued.

By Sunday, Duggar was already in the hospital, and her contractions were three minutes apart. The video ended with the message, "Ready to have this baby!"

Fans of the couple and members of the Duggar family sent them congratulatory messages for the arrival of their fourth child.

"Congrats sis! So happy for y’all!!" her sister Jill Duggar Dillard commented on her Instagram post.

"So very excited for you guys!!!" sister-in-law Claire Duggar wrote.

"Congratulations!!!! We’re so happy for y’all," Joseph and Kendra Duggar commented.

"Just finished watching….So exciting!!! Thank you for letting us watch all the behind the scenes," Carlin Bates wrote.

Duggar and Seewald announced in February that they were expecting another baby after suffering a pregnancy loss last year.

"After the heartbreaking loss of a baby last year, we’re overjoyed to share that another little Seewald is on the way!" the couple said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight at the time. "The pregnancy is going smoothly, and both baby and Jessa are doing well. We are so grateful to God for the precious gift of a new life! The kids are delighted, and we can hardly wait to welcome this little one into our arms this summer."

Duggar shared an ultrasound photo of their rainbow baby on her Instagram, alongside the message: "We’re looking forward to summertime, and here’s our #1 reason! Thank you, God, for this precious gift!"

Duggar and Seewald are also parents to sons Spurgeon, 5, and Henry, 4, and daughter Ivy, 2.
