Is Jessa Duggar Pregnant? New Photo Fuels Rumors About '19 Kids And Counting' Star
A new photo suggests "19 Kids and Counting" stars Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald may be expecting. The picture, posted on a "19 Kids" fan page, shows the 22-year-old and her husband at what appears to be a photo shoot. Seewald is shown standing behind his wife, with his arms reaching around to her stomach, making a heart shape with his hands. The photo has fans buzzing, though no official announcement has been made by Duggar or her mate.
This isn't the first time fans have speculated that the couple, who married in November 2014, had a baby on board. One month after their wedding, a photo of the happy couple, which showed Duggar covering her stomach with a pillow, led her Instagram followers to expect a pregnancy announcement.
The couple told People magazine in February that "kids are so important," but they were not planning a pregnancy just yet. They told the magazine they were holding off on biological children in favor of pursuing adoption. Duggar said even if they did get pregnant "it's not going to quench our desire to adopt." Just one month later, during the Southern Women's Show in Nashville, Duggar and her hubby revealed their adoption plans had been put on hold due to legal technicalities. The couple told attendees that their home state of Arkansas requires that a couple be married for two years before they can legally adopt a child.
Meanwhile, sister Jill Duggar Dillard is just days -- or less -- from giving birth to her first child. Jill recently told People she expects her son to arrive between March 24 and April 5, but she's in no rush to get him out.
"I have told myself, 'First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so don't get discouraged," she shared.
The expectant mom said she was "feeling great," but experiencing a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions. The contractions simulate those that occur during labor, but are not an indication that the baby is on its way. She also told People she is fully "planning on the baby coming late," adding that it's "no big deal."
