Jessa Duggar Wedding Episode: When Will Her First Kiss With Ben Seewald Air On '19 Kids And Counting’?

TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" viewers witnessed Jessa Duggar's engagement to her longtime courtship partner, Ben Seewald, play out on Tuesday night’s latest installment of the reality series. Unfortunately for fans of the newest Duggar couple, their wedding and their first on-screen kiss will not be shown on the series anytime soon.

According to a report from People magazine, the couple’s nuptials was captured by TLC cameras, but won’t air on the Duggar family’s hit series until next season. The magazine did not confirm when the next season will premiere. The show is currently 14 episodes into Season 8, and “19 Kids and Counting” seasons, which have premiered sporadically over the past 10 years, typically have an average of 22 episodes per season.

Jessa recently hinted that her nuptials will be shown on the show during a behind-the-scenes look at her engagement episode on TLC.com. “We want to say thank you to all of our viewers who have tuned into the show and watched our relationship over this past year,” she said. “Stay tuned because the wedding is on the way!”

When Jessa’s wedding episode does air on the network, she has some steady ratings competition. According to a press release from TLC, her sister Jill’s two-hour wedding episode brought in a record number of viewers when it aired Oct. 28. The network reports that Jill’s wedding to accountant Derick Dillard raked in 4.4 million viewers, making it the most watched episode in the past four years of the long-running series' history.

Despite Jessa and Ben's engagement being the featured storyline on the show's Nov. 4 episode, next Tuesday’s episode will reportedly not include any wedding planning for the third eldest Duggar daughter. According to TLC’s lineup, next week's installment will focus on her brother, Josh Duggar, 26, and his family in "DC Duggars Hit The Road.”

“Josh, Anna, and their 3 little ones are heading to Chicago, RV-style, to visit Anna's sister Priscilla and her husband David for a special party. Along the way, they'll visit a series of quirky stops, but will RV issues put a damper in their trip?” reads the synopsis.

While Jessa, 21, and Ben, 19, only just celebrated their engagement on “19 Kids and Counting,” the couple has already since tied the knot. The couple married in front of 1,000 guests at First Baptist Church of Bentonville, Arkansas, Nov. 1. In true Duggar fashion, the couple saved their first kiss for their wedding day. Unlike her recently married sister Jill, Jessa shared her first kiss with her college student beau in private, Us Weekly reports. While the newlyweds did not kiss at the altar, ET Online reports that they did share a few sweet smooches at their reception.
