Jessa Seewald's and Ben Seewald's baby boy is already a week old. The former star of "19 Kids & Counting" took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone by sharing a new photograph of her son Spurgeon Elliot Seewald.

"Can't believe my baby boy is already 1 week old! So grateful to God for this precious little gift," Jessa wrote Friday alongside a close-up photo of baby Spurgeon.

The 23-year-old also shared a photo of her husband holding their son, writing, "To see him so tenderly caring for our baby ... melts my heart!"

Jessa and Ben welcomed their first child together Nov. 5, a few days after their first wedding anniversary.

This week, the couple shared a video message on the Seewald Family Blog announcing their son's name. In the video, Ben explained that they chose the first name Spurgeon after a 19th century preacher named Charles Spurgeon. The 20-year-old told fans that the preacher had a "big impact" on the couple's lives.

The Duggar daughter also recently opened up about motherhood, telling People magazine she's happy to finally be home with her baby.

"When we got home from the hospital, we had the baby on the bed between us, and we were lying there -- it seemed like a dream,” she said.

Ben added that he and Jessa have been "trying to call each other Mom and Dad" so they can adjust to the “whole being-parents thing.”

"I can't believe he's really ours," Jessa said. "It is so amazing. He's a miracle."
