Jessa Seewald Is Pregnant Again! Duggar Teases Twins With Baby No. 2 Announcement

Another Duggar baby is on the way! Jessa and Ben Seewald are expecting their second child together.

The “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” stars confirmed the pregnancy on Tuesday, just hours before their series returns to TLC.

“We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as ‘big brother!’ We are so thankful that God is adding to our family,” Jessa and Ben said in a joint statement to People. “2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already, and we know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role.”

The reality stars added that they’ve always considered Spurgeon, 9 months, a “wonderful blessing” and “cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!)” in February. Could twins be on the way for the couple? It certainly seems they’re teasing it’s a possibility!

While Jessa and Ben are expecting at least one biological child, the couple will discuss their plans for adoption in Season 2 of “Counting On.” A sneak peek of Wednesday’s premiere shows the pair revealing they’re leaning towards a domestic adoption. “I don’t think we really have a preference either way for a boy or a girl,” Jessa says in the clip.

Jessa and Ben publicly discussed their desire to adopt before tying the knot in 2014. They were previously turned down by adoption agencies due to their son’s age.
