Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, got candid about the awkward moment they experienced as parents.
In a new episode of Alba's YouTube show "Getting Honest," the couple revisited an awkward moment they had with their 9-year-old daughter, Haven. Alba and Warren have three kids together, Honor, 12, Hayes, 3, and Haven. During their conversation with fellow parents Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger Berman, the couple said Haven walked in on them while they were being intimate in their bedroom.
"It was the worst," Warren was quoted by People as saying. "We like spent five minutes in our bedroom laughing. And being like, 'I can't believe we just ruined our daughter, we just ruined her.'"
Meanwhile, Alba shared that while her husband was laughing, she started crying. Apparently, she didn't know what to do.
"I called Koa [Warren's sister]. She's so good at helping us through challenges, I feel like she just has such a kind, gentle soul," the celebrity mom said. "I think by the time we called Koa, Haven had already texted her. She went right in and told everyone."
Warren also confronted their daughter after the cringe-worthy encounter. He believed that they should discuss it.
"We just have to own this one. We can't pretend it didn't happen," he said.
"I went downstairs and said, 'Haven, I bet that's the last time you walk into our room without knocking.' Now she knocks, it was like she learned her lesson," he added while laughing.
Earlier this month, Alba shared a family photo on Instagram to celebrate her 40th birthday. "My heart is full of hope and everything I do in life is for you #myfamily #thisis40," he caption read.
In 2019, Alba opened up about having kids and how it changed her body as she reflected on her first InStyle cover. The mother of three said being a mom has changed her perspective in life especially about her body.
"Who am I now? I have three children. They’ve exploded my body, and I’m cool with it," she told InStyle as quoted by HOLA! "My son, Hayes, was just seven months old when I shot the last cover, and if I had been younger, I probably would have been obsessed with dieting and exercising, but instead I thought, 'This is where I’m at. This is my life. And this is my body.'"
