Jessica Alba Flaunts Bikini Body On ‘Shape’ Cover
Jessica Alba stuns in the June issue of Shape magazine, modeling an array of bright and summery swimwear while flaunting her insane bikini body. The actress stays in shape by hitting the gym. “I attribute my athletic body to the martial arts, gymnastics, dance and strength training I did while filming “Dark Angel,” Alba revealed.
The 34-year-old beauty, who starred on TV's "Sin City" from 2000 to 2002, flaunted her workout body in a series of pictures clad in swimwear. In one picture she is seen wearing a blue bikini with one shoulder, while in another she dons a pink one-piece. Then in another picture she is wearing a blue strapless bikini, a yellow halter-neck, and again a pink one.
The actress, who has two daughters with her husband Cash Warren, said that working out is difficult. But she admits that when she has only 30 minutes to spare, she does a series of burpees, mountain climbers, squat jumps, planks, and a few sun salutations. But, now Alba said that she does power yoga with light weights in a 105-degree room, so it's a mix of hot yoga and strength training. When exercising, she plays good music, such as songs by 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay Z or Beyoncé, according to E! Online.
She says daughters Honor and Haven have changed her perception on her figure. Alba revealed that when she needs to quiet her mind, she listens to a meditation podcast from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. She says that the three-minute session can be done in the convenience of a bathroom stall or in her car. But the actress is intrigued by Transcendental Meditation. She says that everyone she knows who does TM has an inner peace and a glow and she wants that.
Talking about her favorite pre-workout snack, she said she used to drink coffee and eat a banana in the morning. But of late she has been making a vegan shake using a vegan protein powder, matcha green tea powder, a banana, coconut water, and ice. She drinks it before a workout and said it doesn’t make her feel too full.
