Jessica Biel Engagement Ring: Justin Timberlake's Fiance Flashes Bling at 'SNL' Party
Jessica Biel and her engagement ring stole the show when the actress attended the Saturday Night Live after party with fiancé Justin Timberlake over the weekend.
According to the New York Daily News, Biel, 29, shared her diamond with Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig, who loved the ring and chatted her up about it at the party, held at Asellina in Manhattan.
Biel and Timberlake, 31, reportedly were very lovey and stayed close at the party, even kissing a few times in front of the crew, a source told Us Weekly.
The couple's presence at the party was no accident. Earlier that evening, Timberlake appeared as a surprise guest on SNL, where he played Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and in another sketch, channeled a boom operator from the Bronx, opposite Poehler and host Maya Rudolph.
Biel and Timberlake, who have been dating on and off for about nearly five years, were engaged in late December. Timberlake popped the question in Jackson, Wyoming.
The first person to confirm the engagement, however, was Timberlake's grandmother, Sadie Bomar.
He called me on Christmas Day and told me he's engaged . . . the family loves Jessie . . . she's a very sweet girl, Bomar told Gossip Cop.
Back to the engagement ring.
While Biel seems to enjoying her new bling, previous tabloid reports have suggested that the New Year's Eve actress wasn't pleased with the ring at first.
When Justin proposed to Jessica, she was disappointed with his choice of ring . . . Jessica isn't a fancy girl, but she wanted something stunning -- a bigger diamond that would impress her friends. Instead, Justin went more minimal, thinking that she'd prefer something less flashy, a source revealed to the Enquirer in January.
Believe what you want, gossipmongers, but Biel loves her (current) engagement ring, and is not shy about flaunting it -- among SNL friends.
All eyes will be on Biel come Sunday, as she is expected to attend the 84th Academy Awards in Hollywood. Let's just hope the ring flaunting keeps up.
