Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are rumored to be on the verge of a marital split, but the duo couldn’t have looked more in love on their recent tropical getaway.

One month after reports that Biel, 32, was prepping to join her musician-actor hubby on his coming world tour in fear that he might stray, the married duo was seen vacationing in Barbados this week. According to reports, the getaway, which included a stay at the Caribbean Luxury Sandy Lane Resort and hours spent on a pricey catamaran, were in honor of the “Hitchcock" actress’s March 3 birthday.

“They looked madly in love as they joked around,” a witness to the couple’s catamaran adventure, which included wakeboarding, told Us Weekly. Unfortunately for the former Disney Mousketeer, onlookers say Biel was more successful at the water sport. “Justin wasn’t very good at wakeboarding. Jessica was so much better!” said the source.

Following their romantic trip, the pair was photographed smiling and walking side-by-side after landing at LAX airport Wednesday night. When prompted by paparazzi to comment on the recent rumors regarding their relationship, including speculation that Biel may be pregnant, the duo remained silent. Despite their quiet demeanor, the Daily Mail reported that the couple “looked very much in love” and appeared "happy and relaxed” post-vacation.

According to a report from E! News, Timberlake, 33, wined and dined his wife of two years earlier this month on her actual birthday at The Forge Restaurant in Miami. “They looked happy and comfortable,” a source told the gossip site, but kept “a low profile.” The night, which ended with an Italian wedding cake, also reportedly included a private performance of "Happy Birthday" from Timberlake in honor of his leading lady.

Timberlake and Biel’s romantic vacation comes on the heels of multiple divorce rumors pertaining to cheating. OK! Magazine published claims last month that the pair’s marriage was in jeopardy, Biel reportedly planning to travel with Timberlake in fear that he might cheat during his “The 20/20 Experience” world tour. In January, the tabloid reported that Biel was feuding with the former 'N Sync singer over alleged liaisons with other women and his refusal to start a family. “Before they wed, Justin promised Jessica they’d try for a baby,” an insider told OK!, adding, “but then he decided to put his energy into touring instead.”
