Jessica Biel Reveals Anxiety Over Baby Silas, Talks Dining Trips With Son
All mothers would know that bringing a baby or toddler to the restaurant can be a very stressful situation. Actress Jessica Biel has already gone through the experience with baby son Silas and admitted that it made her very anxious.
The former “7th Heaven” actress revealed during an interview with E! News that she is still learning how to handle dining out with baby Silas. Biel gave birth to her and Justin Timberlake’s first child Silas in April 2015. She shared that she would have wanted to do it in a “very smooth and like elegant way,” however, the experience can be quite “terrifying.”
“You get to a place, you want to make sure the diners around you are not being bothered, you're full of anxiety, you're trying to go as fast as you can—you don't enjoy it at all,” Biel explained.
Biel also mentioned that it was a major element that she wanted address in her new restaurant, Au Fudge. She stated that she wanted to provide parents, grandparents or even nannies a “stress free” dining environment. The actress also commented that she and her partners were very careful in choosing the items that the kids can play with in their new restaurant. She even gushed on how they “don’t use chemicals” in Fudge. “We've really tried to think very thoughtfully about your family because it's our family, too,” Biel added.
Meanwhile, Biel and husband Timberlake had a fun night during the Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party held Sunday, Feb. 28, according to People magazine. The two stars were all smiles during the event. The husband-and-wife were even photographed in a cute pose, with Timberlake resting his head on Biel’s shoulder while the actress smiled straight at the camera.
In a previous interview in 2013, Timberlake described Biel as his “best friend.” He also referred being married to Biel as “one really good decision” in his life.
