Jessica Biel Timing Pregnancy Announcement With ‘Soho House For Kids’ Au Fudge Restaurant Launch: Report

Despite a report claiming actress Jessica Biel is three months pregnant, the former “7th Heaven” star has yet to confirm or deny rumors she is expecting her first child with her husband, singer/actor Justin Timberlake. While some fans have attributed the couple’s lack of confirmation to her not actually being with child, one report is now claiming Timberlake’s belle is merely holding off on making the big announcement to better promote her new business venture.

According to BlindGossip.com, Biel, 32, is allegedly past her first trimester of pregnancy and waiting to confirm she is expecting as a way to promote her restaurant Au Fudge, an establishment described as a “Soho House for kids.”

“She did some interviews with major publications, posted some teaser photos, generated some buzz and then went completely silent about it! She had to wait for the baby,” the site said. “Now that baby is coming, so is the restaurant. And so is the restaurant promotion. Want to interview Jessica during her pregnancy? That’s fine. You can do a story about how healthy and organic her diet is and about the healthy and organic food she’ll be serving at Au Fudge!”

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Biel was seen breaking ground on the kid-friendly establishment in Santa Monica, Calif., in January. “It would be a place where A-listers would feel comfortable bringing their kids to dine and take part in cooking activities,” a source said.

Biel first spoke out about her plans for the restaurant during an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” in 2012. The actress said she planned to open the business with a couple of friends and would run the bakery component of the establishment.

“I say I’m into it, but I’m not a great baker -- yet,” Biel said, according to Us Weekly. “Please come to my restaurant. It’s going to be called Oh, Fudge.”

Radar Online reported Wednesday that Timberlake, 33, and Biel were expecting their first child. InStyle magazine editor-in-chief, Ariel Foxman, further fueled the rumors after congratulating the pair on their pregnancy via Instagram Thursday, Us Weekly said. Biel first sparked the pregnancy rumors after she was photographed sporting what appeared to be a baby bump while visiting Sydney Oct. 4.

Biel and Timberlake just celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary last week. The child would be the first for both.
