Jessica Chastain Reacts To Her Red Carpet Viral Video With Oscar Isaac

Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac’s chemistry at the Venice Film Festival red carpet has sent fans into a frenzy after a video of the latter smelling the actress' armpit went viral on social media.

The duo were promoting their new limited series "Scenes From A Marriage," which is set to premiere on Sept. 12, at the Venice Film Festival. As they posed for the shutterbugs Saturday, Isaac gave Chastain a playful look before smelling her armpit. In response, Chastain laughed out loud and cupped his cheeks.

Chastain also took to Twitter on Monday to share her reaction to the moment and poke fun at the now-viral video. She tweeted a picture of Gomez Addams from “The Addams Family” in which he can be seen kissing his wife, Morticia’s, arm. Isaac had voiced Gomez in the animated remake of “The Addams Family.”

The actors' fans have been astounded by the interaction between the two, with one person tweeting: “I know they’re married and have kids with their respective partners, just let me have this."

Another person tweeted “anyway seeing these two in scenes from a marriage is going to destroy me, can’t wait for september 12”

One user tried reminding the world of Isaac’s wife’s presence at the red carpet, with a picture and a tweet saying: “Come on bruh”

The duo have been friends for about 20 years, having met as classmates during their time in The Juilliard School in New York.

Isaac is married to Danish film director Elvira Lind. The couple met in 2012, married in 2017, and share two children.

Chastain is married to fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, and they welcomed their second child last year.
