According to Bovada.lv, Colton Dixon is the favorite to win American Idol 2012 at 8-to-5 odds. Phillip Phillips has the second-best odds at 9-4.

Fans of American Idol were thrown for a loop when Sanchez, long thought to be the frontrunner, shockingly wound up in the bottom three of last night's show.

As Sanchez was about sing her save song, Jennifer Lopez rushed onto the stage to use the judges' save, which spares a singer from elimination. The judges have only one such save per season.

As for the remaining Idol singers, they have slim chances of winning the competition.
