Jessica Simpson, Daughters Birdie And Maxwell Support Son Ace At Baseball Game
Jessica Simpson is one proud mom. The multi-hyphenate mogul has shared a photo of herself and her two daughters showing support for her son Ace at a recent baseball game.
In the said photo, which was posted on Instagram Tuesday, Simpson could be seen wearing a brown long-sleeved top paired with dark blue jeans. She completed her look with a pair of colorful boots and what appeared to be a sling bag. She stood behind her daughters, Birdie, 2, and Maxwell, 9, who were both sitting in camping chairs.
Her youngest child, Birdie, could also be seen munching on some snacks while wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey. Meanwhile, Maxwell smiled sweetly at the camera with a popsicle in her left hand.
"Watchin' Ace pitch wearin' paisleys and grubbin' on pineapple pops #MAXIDREW #BIRDIEMAE," Simpson wrote in the caption.
The "I Think I'm In Love with You" singer, who shares all of her three children with husband Eric Johnson, previously raved about how "naturally gifted" her 8-year-old son Ace is in baseball. She even revealed in an Instagram post in May that Ace had been chosen as an "All-Star" player.
"When Ace was in my belly, I told everyone and anyone who'd listen that he would dominate a baseball field when he was old enough and would more than likely never ever end up putting the bat down...so far my intuition was correct," Simpson wrote. "This kiddo is SO naturally gifted, laser-focused, instinctual, bats the ball out of the park, pitches strikeouts, and owns his confidence with a humble grin."
"This was all to say 'Congratulations Ace Johnson for being picked as an All-Star!!! You are gonna have the best summer ever, bud! You make this family SO proud, every single week, as you own your gift and love of baseball!' #ACEKNUTE," she added.
On June 5, the singer and actress also shared with more than 5 million Instagram followers that her son Ace had hit a home run during this championship game.
"My baseball stud won the championships with a hitting a home run against an undefeated team at the end of the ballgame. He told me that he saved that hit for that moment so the team was caught off guard. Now that is athlete mentality if I do say so myself...and he is only 7," Simpson noted.
Simpson is well-known for the reality series "Nick and Jessica: Newlyweds," which ran from 2003 to 2005. She married Nick Lachey in October 2005. The couple filed for divorce in December 2005 due to "irreconcilable differences."
In May 2010, Simpson met Johnson and the couple got engaged in November, the same year. However, it wasn't until July 2014 that the couple got married.
