Rumors recently surfaced that Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's alleged marital trouble has forced the couple to head toward a $1 billion divorce. However, the report by OK! magazine was shut down by Gossip Cop as the couple is still going strong.

According to OK!, Simpson and Johnson's four-year marriage is hanging by a thread due to “Jessica’s partying and Eric’s lack of interest” in their relationship.

“They’re always clashing over all sorts of things. Friends are worried that Jessica and Eric may not make it through this," a source told OK! magazine, adding the former NFL star is sick of his wife’s “antics” and is “tired of playing dad to their kids and his wife.”

The bogus report also claimed the couple rarely spend time together and “don’t actually have a lot in common apart from the kids." While mentioning about their divorce, the unreliable source said: “Eric could go after everything Jessica has. This could turn into a brutal custody war, a battle for their mansion and Jessica’s business.”

However, these claims are completely false as everything looks good between Simpson and Johnson.

Just a day before the fabricated report, the couple were photographed together stepping out in New York City. The 38-year-old entrepreneur and the 38-year-old retired football player were walking arm-in-arm and in no way looked like there was some trouble in their relationship.

Last month, Simpson shared an Instagram photo of Johnson holding up their kids, along with the caption, “God gave me life to live it with this man.”

The couple's social media activity and frequent photographs that show the duo looking happy on date nights and day outings prove there’s no billion-dollar divorce on the cards for them.

Simpson and retired NFL tight end began dating in May 2010 and the couple announced their engagement six months later. Simpson and Johnson married on July 5, 2014, in Montecito, California. The singer and designer gave birth to a daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, on May 1, 2012, and welcomed son, Ace Knute Johnson on June 30, 2013.
