Jessica Simpson Gets Trolled By Daughter For Peculiar Eating Habit
Jessica Simpson can never complain about her kid's weird eating habits because apparently, she has one too.
The singer on Tuesday shared a sweet picture of her and her 9-year-old daughter, Maxwell Drew, and joked about getting trolled by her own kid for eating bacon in a very specific manner.
The 41-year-old mom of three took to Instagram to post the picture, which she captioned, "My kids make fun of me since I only eat the tips of the bacon _ ,"
In the picture, the mother-daughter duo can be seen seated in a red, leather restaurant booth as they share a meal together. The former reality tv star can be seen dressed in a black vintage Led Zeppelin t-shirt and a tan-colored wide brim hat. She layered her look with a stack of multi-sized necklaces and wore her long blonde hair in waves.
Her 9-year-old daughter can be seen dressed in a pale pink Ivy Park sweatshirt while she munches on the meat with her mother.
Simpson has been married to Eric Johnson since 2014. Apart from Drew, the couple also has a 2-year-old daughter, Birdie Mae, and an 8-year-old son, Ace Knute.
Just last week she shared a snap of her older daughter and son giving each other a hug before they head to school for their first day of the year.
"After a year and a half these HAPPY kiddos are BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!! New school. New beginnings," she gushed about her kids in the caption.
Back in March, Simpson opened up to People about the struggles she faced while raising three kids amid a pandemic
"I definitely had to multitask on a whole new level this year, between my kids being in school on Zoom and being a working mom, keeping the Jessica Simpson Collection running remotely and pushing through inspired ideas that became endless and so many rewarded all while keeping my family smiling," she said at the time.
"[I have] been reminded that my faith, God, husband, kids, extended family, friends, health and safety are all to be held with more gratitude than ever before," she added.
"I have also learned just about every project with tie-dye and slime [and] every sport you can play in a backyard, and I have memorized what every single cul-de-sac in my neighborhood looks like," Simpson joked.
Another lesson she learned over the last year was that "Kids are way more resilient than we give them credit for. In many ways, they were the peaceful force that made life precious in this trying time."
