Jessica Simpson Nude, Pregnant Magazine Cover Censored in Arizona Grocery Store: 'PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE CARDBOARD'
Jessica Simpson was not the first to do it, but apparently a grocery store in Arizona still finds it offensive.
After posing nude on the cover of Elle Magazine, Simpson has been censored. A shopper took a picture of the magazine with a piece of cardboard covering Simpson's breast and belly. Whoever placed the cardboard on Simpson's magazine cover apparently wanted to make sure the cardboard remained in place leaving a note saying, PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE CARDBOARD. The sign has reportedly been in place for a week.
Simpson has not spoken out about the censorship, but it doesn't seem like the controversy will bother her.
I'm like 170 pounds and I wanted to pose nude, Simpson said. I try to be like 110 pounds. It's funny to be at your heaviest and feel the most confident. I just take such pride in being a mom! I just love my body more than ever now.
Simpson revealed in the magazine that she and fiancé, Eric Johnson, are expecting a girl. The couple said that they have the name picked out, but will not reveal it until their daughter is born.
[It's] nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary, Simpson said.
A report by In Touch Weekly says that Simpson and Johnson plan to name their baby Maxwell, which is Johnson's middle name and is grandmother's maiden name. Simpson has been spotted with M necklace recently.
