Jessica Simpson, 31, says she's pregnant, OK! magazine announced in a cover story this week.

The singer-cum-actress and her fiance, former NFL player Eric Johnson, 32, are scheduled to marry in Hawaii this November.

Well, now I can eat anything I want and no one will care. It's just sort of a rule with pregnant women, Simpson told OK!

Life and Style Weekly magazine reported earlier this week that Simpson is having a baby girl. However, it seems that Simpson was putting off her pregnancy announcement in the hopes of selling the story for $500,000.

In Touch Weekly reported that Simpson told a source, It's like winning the lottery, twice. Jessica really wanted to find out the baby's sex, she hates surprises.

She and Eric are both so happy, the source said, adding, Johnson has already ordered pink bubblegum cigars to hand out when the baby arrives.

Close friends claim they are thinking of naming the baby Morgan or Karen.

OK! added that although Simpson had told friends she did not want to have a baby before marrying Johnson, she is thrilled to be pregnant.
