Jessica Simpson Says ‘No’ To Having More Kids With New Husband Eric Johnson
Two back-to-back pregnancies have done Jessica Simpson in as the singer admitted to her social media followers this weekend she is over the idea of having more children.
“I love you Jack but I do not want another!!” Simpson shared via Instagram Sunday, alongside an image of her posing with her interior designer pal Kathryn Skyroa’s son.
While the newlywed singer may not have plans to have another child with her husband, retired NFL star Eric Johnson, 34, their daughter, Maxwell, 2, appears to be open to welcoming another sibling.
“Little Max found a real baby doll,” Simpson, 34, posted to the social media site alongside an image of Maxwell kissing her infant pal’s head.
Simpson last spoke of her desire to keep her family of four intact with Us Weekly last August following the birth of her second child with Johnson, Ace, now 13 months.
“Pregnancy is a lot,” said Simpson, who announced she was pregnant again in December 2012 less than six months after delivering her daughter. “It was hard to do two so close together. I have this huge sense of accomplishment and I feel in my heart that I’m done. But obviously, accidents do happen."
Simpson tied the knot with Johnson at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, July 5 in front of 275 guests. The couple announced their engagement in November 2010 after six months of dating,
Earlier this week, the pair celebrated their nuptials with a quick honeymoon in Mexico. “I love this man, our marriage and everything in between,” Simpson said on Instagram alongside an image of her posing next to Johnson during their getaway Sunday night.
Simpson was previously wed to 98 Degrees singer Nicholas Lachey, now 40. The couple, famous for their MTV reality series “Newlyweds,” split in 2005 after three years of marriage.
Johnson was previously married to pole dancing teacher Keri D’Angelo.
