Jessie J Sends Channing Tatum Flirty Birthday Message After Split: ‘Grateful You Were Born’

Jessie J penned a sweet birthday greeting to ex-boyfriend Channing Tatum weeks after their breakup.

Jessie J and Tatum have parted ways for the second time, but the two remain good friends. On Sunday, Tatum turned 40 years old. The “Flashlight” singer didn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate and sent the “Magic Mike” actor a sweet message.

“Happy 40th birthday to this special man right here,” the “Price Tag” artist wrote on Instagram Stories, along with a photo of Tatum standing in waist-deep crystal clear water, Entertainment Tonight reported. “You are truly one of a kind. I am so grateful you were born, and even more grateful that we met.”

Jessie J also shared another post featuring her ex. In the snap, Tatum is in swimming trunks and a tank top. “Keep living your BEST life,” she wrote.

Jessie J and Tatum reportedly dated for a year and broke up in December. A week after their split, the “Bang Bang” singer got candid on social media and opened up about “delayed emotions,” sharing a quote from late Heath Ledger about happiness.

“Delayed emotions are …well…Not so fun,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, ET reported.

“Everyone you meet always asks if you have a career, are married, or own a house as if life was some kind of grocery list. But no one ever asks you if you are happy,” the quote read.

Jessie J and Tatum reconciled in January, but their romance didn’t last. The two reportedly tried to make things work. However, they realized that they were better of as friends and that it was time to move on.

When Tatum and Jessie J were together, they weren’t shy about packing on PDA and showing the world their love for each other. Shortly after they reconciled, Tatum posted a photo of them wearing a unicorn headdress on Instagram.

“Jenna looks better with you,” one netizen commented.

Tatum fired back at the critic and defended his lady love.

“And ain’t no body more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah that includes my ex,” he wrote. “Sorry about your opinion. But what i said is facts. just facts. Ok bye be careful with your actions it’s what you create for yourself.”
