A Brooklyn lawsuit has charged two JetBlue pilots of rape and sexual assault against three female airline workers during a layover in Puerto Rico before flying back to Newark, NJ.

It also charged that one of the pilots induced sexual disease on a victim.

According to reports, the three women are seeking an “amount to be determined at the time of trial plus interest,” attorney’s fees and costs plus damages.

The alleged incident occurred in San Juan on May 9 when the three women checked into Intercontinental Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, after their flight from Washington D.C.

Later they sauntered into the beach and befriended Eric Johnson and Dan Watson after finding them to be staff pilots of JetBlue, the lawsuit explained.

The trio shared an open can of beer that Jonson offered from his lunch bag.

“The beer was laced with a drug, and after that point, the rest of the night became a blur for Doe # 1, Doe # 2and the other crew member,” the lawsuit stated.

It said the beer was laced with a drug and what followed was a traumatic night of sexual exploitation of the women in a semi-waking state.

When victim Jane Doe 1 woke up at the hotel room she found Johnson raping her. Doe 1 also alleged that she was drugged, raped and “intentionally given” a sexually transmitted disease by the pilot.

Forced sex under sedation

Giving details of the assault, the lawsuit said Johnson was on top of Jane Doe 1 and was raping her. Out of the sedation from the drug Johnson mixed in the beer, she was unable to react but sensed that “it was happening.”

In flashes of memory, she also saw Johnson in sexual intercourse with the other crewmember who too was drugged.

“Johnson and Watson drugged Jane Doe 2 and intended to rape her but did not when she began vomiting which was a turnoff,” the suit alleged.

Johnson said at the end, “thank you for making my fantasy come true."

Complained of rape but no action came

The next morning, during the flight back to Newark the trio felt “uneasy, groggy and numb” and were vomiting. They discussed among themselves the harrowing night, the lawsuit said.

The women reported the matter of “sexual assault, rape, and sex, and gender discrimination” to JetBlue’s New York corporate headquarters.

However, no action followed despite assuring them that the incidents would be investigated, the suit said.

Meanwhile, a JetBlue spokeswoman refused to comment on the litigation. But she said, “JetBlue takes allegations of violent or inappropriate behavior seriously” and investigate such claims thoroughly.

Alaska Airlines takes anti-sexual harassment steps

Meanwhile, Alaska Airlines has taken steps to control acts of in-flight sexual assault and harassment. In pre-flight announcements, the airline asks passengers to report inappropriate behavior to crewmembers.

A handful of incidents have added to the vigil. One was a San Diego passenger getting banned from the airline for inappropriate touching of a flight attendant.

Then came the much-publicized incident involving celebrity entrepreneur Randi Zuckerberg who was harassed by an inebriated seatmate on Alaska Airlines.

She took the incident to Facebook to described the ordeal including the odd behavior of flight attendants who asked her to shift than asking the aggressor to move.

Randi later updated that Alaska Air suspended the passenger's flight privileges and assured her an internal investigation.
