Jinger Duggar-Jeremy Vuolo Engagement Update: Jill Dillard, Jessa Seewald Congratulate The Happy Couple On YouTube
Jinger Duggar is officially engaged and her family could not be more excited for her. She and fiancé Jeremy Vuolo, a former professional soccer player, announced on Tuesday that they will be tying the knot.
One day later, Jinger’s sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald have taken to YouTube to express their joy. In a video posted to the Duggar family YouTube channel, Jill was joined by husband Derek Dillard and son Israel Dillard in congratulating Jinger, 22. The couple said they were “excited” to return home to be a part of their big day, though it remains unclear when that will be. Even Israel, who is just 1 year old, got in on the action, saying “hola” to his aunt and soon-to-be uncle.
Jessa and husband Ben Seewald shared a video from inside their car, discussing how “thrilled” they were for their respective childhood best friends to be coming together as one. Ben told viewers that he and his wife had been watching Jinger and Jeremy’s relationship evolve, adding that they were “super pumped” to see what the future had in store for them as a couple. Jessa, 23, echoed those statements.
Jill and Jessa aren’t the only ones who are over the moon that yet another Duggar is headed down the aisle. Amy (Duggar) King, a cousin of the 19 Duggar children, expressed her excitement for Jinger on social media Wednesday. On Instagram she wrote that she was “so happy” for her cousin. She then took to Twitter, where she shared a lengthier — and funnier — message with fans. She joked that while she was in support of Jinger and Jeremy’s marriage, men “all over the place” were likely feeling disappointed.
Jinger and Jeremy announced their engagement Tuesday. The news comes just about one month after they went public with their courtship. In a TLC video they shared the news with fans, adding that they could follow their relationship from the beginning on Season 2 of “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.”
Tune in to TLC Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 8 p.m. EDT for all that and more.
