Jinger Duggar’s Husband Announces In Honeymoon Update That Prayers Are ‘Much Needed’

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are officially husband and wife and as such, are enjoying their honeymoon. The “Counting On” couple took a break from their getaway on Thursday evening to share a post-nuptials video update with fans.

“We just want to say hello!” a smiley Jinger tells the camera with Jeremy by her side. “We are enjoying our honeymoon here.”

After marrying in front of 1,000 family and friends at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, last weekend, Jermey and Jinger revealed they were going to spend some time alone before heading off on their whirlwind honeymoon. While her siblings kept their honeymoon locations a secret, Jinger shared with People magazine that she and Jeremy were headed down under, making stops in Australia and New Zealand.

The video, posted to the couple’s website Thursday, is the first fans have seen of the pair since they wed. And while Jinger was all smiles in the update, titled “First Message From The Married Couple,” Jeremy had a more serious message for fans.

“Thank you for all of your support and all of your prayers,” Jeremy tells the camera. “We appreciate them. They’re much needed as we begin this new journey in life together.”

When Jeremy and Jinger last took to their blog it was to gush about their big day. “YES! We are married” reads their Nov. 6 post.

“We are so thankful to God, our parents and our wonderful families and friends for celebrating this day with us and for helping us arrive at this moment in time. We love that we now are beginning our lives together as one, before God.”

Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding episode will air sooner than expected. TLC’s Tuesday, Nov. 15, installment of “Counting On” will follow the couple as they walk down the aisle. You can watch a sneak-peek of the special installment HERE.
