Doja Cat has pulled out of this week's 2021 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour after testing positive for COVID-19.
The "Kiss Me More" singer tested positive just a few days after some members of her production team contracted COVID-19.
"I'm sad to share that I just tested positive as well and will no longer be able to perform on the rest of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour," the 26-year-old singer announced on her Instagram page Sunday.
The Grammy nominee said her "spirits are down" because she has to cancel her appearances in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta and Miami. She was scheduled to perform in Philadelphia on Monday, Washington D.C. on Tuesday and Atlanta on Thursday.
"I'm doing okay and look forward to recovering and getting back out there as soon as I can! The rest of the tour stops have some really great lineups, wish I could be there. Much love xo," the singer added.
The "Say So" artist pulled out of the tour's New York City and Boston stops, which were slated for Friday and Saturday respectively, after announcing that some members of her production crew tested positive for COVID-19. She said her team members were in quarantine and were following "appropriate safety measurements and necessary precautions."
"For the health and wellbeing of the rest of our crew, we are following all the appropriate safety measurements and necessary precautions, which means I won't be able to perform at iHeartRadio's New York Z100 and Boston KISS FM Jingle Ball," she wrote in a statement shared by People.
Doja Cat, also known as Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, earlier contracted the virus in July last year after announcing she was not "scared" of it.
"I got COVID. Honestly, I don't know how this happens but I guess I ordered something off of Postmates and... I don't know how I got it but I got it," she told UK radio station CapitalXTRA, People reported.
She said she was feeling "okay" at the time after having a "four-day symptom freak out."
The Jingle Ball Tour is the latest holiday event that is affected by the pandemic.
Lil Nas X and Coldplay also withdrew from Capital FM's 2021 Jingle Bell Ball lineup in London after members of their respective crews tested positive for the virus.
