Jobs and Apple unveiling free iCloud service at WWDC (Photos)
Missed the live event? Check out photos from the keynote led by Apple CEO Steve Jobs as they announced the new iCloud service along with the new iOS 5 and OS X Lion. The new feature will now sync all photos, music, videos to all mobile devices automatically and it is offered to users for free.
Owners of iPhones, iPads, and iPods can now wirelessly sync files through Photo Stream. Utilizing the iCloud, users can also work on documents, save them, and sycn them to another device or Mac computer where further editing can be done. Jobs demonstrated the function over wifi, which only took seconds for data to be synced from one device to another. Music lovers can also embrace the technology in order to update all devices with their iTunes music library automatically. The iCloud service will be free to users.
